Gays and lesbians have always been discriminated against just because of what they like or how they look. It has been a really big issue all over the world. There has been teens who have committed suicide because they have been bullied for being gay. They couldn't accept who they were because others made feel like it was bad being who they were. Straight people that discriminate think that they are perfect, but perfection doesn't exist. No one is perfect. Everyone is a human being no matter what u look like or what you like.
Gay people are all over the world so straight people have to deal with it whether they like it or not. When a gay couple is seen in public they always get discriminated . People give them bad looks or say bad comments. You can always tell when someone is talking bad about you. Gay people aren't treated equally and i believe that they should be treated equally just like everyone else. I also believe that gay marriage should be legal every where. Gay people also deserve to be happy as well. I am a lesbian myself. I would like to be in peace. I don't like when I'm in public with my girlfriend and people say bad comments or look at us as if we were something out of this world. People need to start being a little more respectful.

Academic Autobiography
My favorite subject would be Science. Science because I like to experiment and explore new things about life and nature. It is also very interesting and fun. All of my science classes were fun and i learned a lot during my freshman year.
An influential teacher to me would be a teacher that teaches you a lot of good positive things of life. Also that shows you good things and does positive things for you and that gives you good examples and lets you know whats good and bad.
As for my future, i see myself in college studding to be a nurse, police officer, or a social worker. I want to be able to help teenagers in the world that are making bad decisions and make them change for good. I also would like to help sick people. I would also like to help other police officers catch the bad people and put them where they belong (Jail).
I also see my self having a job while going to school so i can pay off my college bills. I also see myself living on my own.
As a student i would describe myself a confident student. A student that does her work and tries her best to do anything possible to get good grades. Also a student that cares about Passing all her classes because she wants to graduate on time with all her other class mates.
I learned how to speak when i was around 2 years old or younger. I learned to read in first grade.
My English grades in my junior year were okay. Not so bad or not to good. They were just fine.

Winter Break
Winter break is the best break we get at school. Being able to spend time with your family for the holidays is to great. I got to see family members that i haven't seen in years. We had a family reunion and had a great time. On Christmas eve i went to my cousins house that i haven't seen since i was like 10 years old. Being with family you haven't seen in a long time feels great. It fills you up with joy and happiness.
On Christmas day we opened presents, ate, laughed, and enjoyed the rest of the day. We slept till the next day. We ate delicious tamales that my grandma and mom made. My aunt made some delicious chicken and put it in french bread and put lots of other good things in it.
Everything was so yummy.
Opening presents is one of the best parts of Christmas. The excitement kills. Getting what you want is so great. i got lots of clothes, make-up, and other great stuff i wasn't expecting. Seeing my little siblings enjoy there gifts was great. When they smile i smile. That's all i care about on holidays is to see them enjoy every minute of it.
On December 29 i turned 17 years young. I had a great time. I love my birthday because we are never in school on that day. It makes my day perfect. I get to relax and enjoy my special day. Having my birthday cake was awesome. It was also extremely delicious. My two younger siblings made my birthday morning great. They woke me up by singing me a birthday song. That was so sweet of them. My mother made me food and bought me a birthday cake when she came home from wok. I also got so many birthday wishes on facebook and by text from family and friends. Each one of them made me smile.
On December the 31st i stayed home and helped my mom cook. Friends came over to eat and count down for the new year. I was home with the family. It felt great. just being home with the family and friends just waiting for the new year to come. I was expecting a new years kiss but my girlfriend wasn't with me that day so it pretty much sucked. I wanted to see her so bad nd be with her but it was impossible to get to her because she lives an hour away from me so i had no ride over there. Hopefully next time i get to spend new years with her. I can't complain about my break. It was great.

What Women Want
I want a red dress
I want it flimsy and cheap,
I want it to tight, i want to wear it
until someoone tears it off me.
I want it sleeveless and backless,
this dress, so no one has to guess
what's underneath. I want to walk down
the street past Thrifty's and the hardware store
with all those keys glittering in the window
past Mr. and Mrs. Wong selling day-old
donuts in there cafe, past the Guerra brothers
slinging pigs from the truck and onto the dolly,
hoisting the slick

Circumlunar - (sur'kem-loo'ner) Adj. Revolving about or surrounding the moon.
The satellite circumlunar around the moon for pictures of life.
I found this word in a book i was reading in my homeroom class. The book was about space. I don't really remember the name of the book. The book was pretty interesting. I found the word in a sentence that was talking about the moon being surrounded by a satellite to take pictures of the moon. The moon is pretty big and nice.
